Students in this drawing are illustrated working in small groups at tables to investigate the question, "How do plants grow?" The students have materials available such as plants, rulers, and items for recording data. Scientific language was present in the drawing as evident in the scientific method poster at the front of the classroom which referenced science terms such as, "observation" and "hypothesis". Science learning with others, scientific tools, and scientific language were depicted in this drawing which resulted in a score of four.
